An extremely important aspect of fitness is selecting were you are going to train. The location you choose should be one that does not become a burden to either travel to or where there are too many people to be able to move around the facility with ease.
Being realistic in knowing yourself and your tendencies can mean the difference in not only your level of success with a fitness plan, but also in staying motivated to workout at an optimal level. Often times getting started and finding a good routine is the biggest challenge, once you start training and have a schedule that works well for you, you’ll be feeling great and you’ll look forward to our time together each week!
If your time is limited, I would suggest that you start off training in your home. Your most comfortable environment has the potential to become the most effective location for your fitness needs. Implementing creative variety, as far as location is concerned, can be beneficial as well enjoyable. Training outdoors can be extremely relaxing providing an escape from what is considered “the norm.”

Structure
Learning how your body reacts to different types of workouts will determine how we structure your routine. Structure is based on a variety of elements, such as the time you choose to exercise and how you break-up each individual workout session. For example: If your confidence lies in muscular workouts, but you lack motivation when it comes to cardiovascular exercise, I will work to motivate you more to get the cardio workouts going well and working for you. If your lifestyle is consumed by your daily routine, keep in mind, your workout structure can be designed without adding any additional stress to your schema. Routines can be broken down into 15 minute micro portions that, if done properly, will produce optimal results.
Planning
Coordinating workout routines in conjunction with specific body parts/sections can be highly beneficial, in regards to your success rate. When compared to taking spontaneous trips to the gym, the probability is greater that you will execute a previously planned targeted workout because there will be no guessing involved. Because you have designated specific exercises to each training day, the likelihood of adhering to your agenda will increase. Your goals are now tangible; therefore, obtainable.
Planning your workouts may also aid in maintaining your overall interest in physical fitness. It is common for an individual to lose focus when they are not challenged in their endeavors. Planning your routines ahead of time may eliminate boredom and provides direction which will increase your motivation in reaching your future goals.

Execution
It is important to note that before initiating any new routine (without professional supervision), that you learn the proper bio-mechanics of each individual exercise. Make sure that any equipment you are using is safe and properly constructed. Prepare your workout area to your desired liking (music, placement of equipment, etc.). Remember, exercise can be a very therapeutic instrument, if you allow it to be. Your workout area is your personal space; a place where you can stray from the daily pressures of life. Take advantage of this opportunity. With so many stresses engulfed in our routine activities, exercise should be perceived as a way to escape, if only for a moment! If you approach fitness with the right attitude, exercise could be just the tool you need to produce a better quality of life.

Your goals will determine how we design your workout routines from the intensity to the approach and style. Your goal may be to lose weight, tone-up, bulk-up, improve performance, reduce stress, increase flexibility, prevent injury, and/or just look to become healthier in general. As your trainer, I will ensure proper bio-mechanics, distinction between fitness facts/myths, and will stay focused and updated on your individual fitness goals and where we are in achieving them. Injuring yourself, losing enthusiasm, being unsatisfied with your workouts, or just not seeing results, could determine the difference between succeeding and failing. Even if you do not believe that your diet is the reason for unsatisfactory results, each time you decide to agree upon another training session package, I will design a new meal plan to provide an opportunity for variety. We will work together as a team to adjust and tweak what and how you are eating weekly to get the most out of your metabolism, training and lifestyle performance.
Every person has different reasons why they might struggle with their food consumption and planning. Having your very own nutritional consultant customize an individualized meal plan will alleviate the confusion and frustration of deciding what and when to eat. Rather than being unrealistic, to ensure satisfaction, I will use your favorite healthy foods when designing your meals. Following the plan, meal to meal, will become enjoyable as opposed to a burden.
